About Me

Welcome to Sweet Life Lactation!

Meet Sarah Lin

I am Sarah Lin, mother, wife, and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. I am passionate about breastfeeding and it is my goal to help you meet your {breastfeeding} goals!

You may wonder how I decided to become a lactation consultant. During my pregnancy, I watched a friend nurse her son and I decided that breastfeeding was the right choice for my daughter and I. I saw that breastfeeding was a way to nourish a child both physically and emotionally.

In dealing with our own breastfeeding struggles, I came to learn how important it is to have support. While breastfeeding is biologically natural, it does not always come easy and having support makes a difference. I found support through a local support group as well as IBCLC’s. With help, my daughter and I were able to work through our difficulties.

After a move to San Diego and some soul-searching, I decided that I wanted to make helping women and babies find their own breastfeeding success my career. After passing the IBCLC exam, I decided private practice was the right choice for me and my family. I believe that all women should have access to professional and non-judgmental
breastfeeding care. Private practice allows me to offer that care focused on the individual needs of a mother/baby pair. I use a custom approach to address your specific needs and as things evolve, we can alter your care plan to reflect those changes.

I’d love to meet you! Check out our class page to see what is coming up, scroll through the blog or pop into one of our support groups. You can also join the conversation on Facebook and Twitter. As always, I can be reached via phone or email.

Sarah began to volunteer with La Leche League and was certified as an IBCLC.
